Windows 10 Bootcamp - Mouse and Keyboard not Working

I am on a 2017 Macbook Pro Touchbar, and I partitioned Windows 10 Pro on an external SSD, setup went fine, but when I got to the windows setup, it wouldn't let me move my mouse and the cursor didn't appear, the keyboard was also not responding. Therefore, I wasn't able to complete setup for windows. Anyone able to help?

    I have had this issue before. To be honest the quickest way to get around this is grab a wireless or wired keyboard and mouse, plug it in. Windows will find the usb keyboard and mouse, like a logitech and you can continue with Andre's comments. 

    You need to run bootcamp on the mac side and make a windows drivers usb. I find it odd you have no keyboard, its usually the trackpad that is the PITA.

    This may work, I have a Razer gaming mouse and I think it should work, the only issue that my external SSD uses up my only USB to USB-C Dongle so untill I get another one, I'll try some other methods.

    The article says I need to be logged in, but I cannot do that because I was not able to set up windows 10.
