Hi Steven. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 9 year Windows MVP and Independent Advisor, here to help you.
The response sounds like you're running the Driver Update from the Device Manager, which only queries Windows Update which has less than half of the drivers so should not be the primary source.
Update your drivers from the PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on sticker. Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager
reached by right clicking the Start Menu. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.
Compare the Install you did with the gold-standard Install in this link which compiles the best possible
Clean Install Windows 10 which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy. The reason I suggest this is because not one of the several million consumers
who have performed any of my Clean Install tutorials over the past ten years has ever come back to report an issue if they stick with the tools and methods given.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
