When installing Win 10, there are usually 4-6 drivers needed to complete the install. Yesterday and today, I cannot get any missing driver to download when searching online. Message is "Windows could not find drivers for your device".

This has never happened to me before. Same problem on multiple computers.

    method 1

Go to the  laptop or desktop  model manufacturer site  , and download  all the  necessary  drivers in the form  of  zip or  .exe  files .

then  search all .inf  files and  put them in all in single  folder  named  driver64bit

copy the  folder driver64bit to  usb pendrive  and  insert in to computer

while installing windows , if it asked the drivers  means , browse to the  location say  E:\driver64bit

click next , it  will install

    method 2

use  your  friend  computer  ,  download the windows 10  iso or if  you  already  had means , then don't download .

Go to the  laptop or desktop  model manufacturer site  , and download  all the  necessary  drivers in the form  of  zip or  .exe  files .

then  search all .inf  files and  put them in all in single  folder  named  driver64bit

adding  drivers in to  windows 10 image , go to Microsoft  website

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/add-and-remove-drivers-to-an-offline-windows-image

    Hi Steven

Is the Windows installation looking for drivers to continue the installation, or have you successfully installed Windows 10 and then cannot find/load drivers into Windows?

Hi Steven. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 9 year Windows MVP and Independent Advisor, here to help you.

The response sounds like you're running the Driver Update from the Device Manager, which only queries Windows Update which has less than half of the drivers so should not be the primary source.

Update your drivers from the PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on sticker. Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.

Compare the Install you did with the gold-standard  Install in this link which compiles the best possible Clean Install Windows 10 which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy.  The reason I suggest this is because not one of the several million consumers who have performed any of my Clean Install tutorials over the past ten years has ever come back to report an issue if they stick with the tools and methods given.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

Do yourself a favor: Before you install Windows 10, determine which drivers you will need. Go to the hardware manufacturers' websites and obtain the drivers you need and installation instructions. Store all these on a USB flash drive. Now you don't need to rely on an internet connection to obtain drivers.

In fact, you don't need to be connected to the internet at all in order to do a clean install, and this is a much better way to clean install. Download everything you will need for the install in advance, then store it all in a USB flash drive along with all instructions and notes you will need.

Disconnect your computer from the internet, do the install, setup everything as you like it, and then connect to the internet. Your computer will download and install whatever updates it needs.
