In Device Manager it should be listed under Mice and Pointing Devices. Can you see that?
Touchpad keeps glitching out
Hello!
My touchpad on my Windows 10 HP Pavlion keeps glitching out. It keeps zooming in and out on any of my apps that I open, it won't move with one touch of a finger, the icons keeps getting bigger and smaller, and everytime I reset, it still keeps doing it!
I tried finding ways to help on the web and nothing seemed to work at all. I tried installing Malawarebytes and that didn't work either, I even looked at my touchpad status and it said everything was fine.
I desepretly need help on this! Its been bugging me the last 3 weeks and I really don't want have to buy a mouse or a new laptop.
Please find many ways to help fix this. Thanks!

2019-02-24T22:08:15+00:00 Once again thanks for the responce.
I found it and I clicked my ELAN Clickpad and when I hit update driver. It says this:
-> How do you want to search for drivers?
Which one should I click in order to continue
Search auto or Browse my laptop?

I was unable to find my touchpad in Device Manager BUT I realized that maybe updating my touchpad would work but I was unable to find my touchpad. Could you tell me where my touchpad is listed under?

2019-02-24T21:46:57+00:00 Hi NASCARJoey, I'm Graeme, an independent adviser here to help.
Firstly, I would see if the troubleshooter fixes the issue. Click Start and type "troubleshoot" then select the first result. Scroll down and choose Mouse. Run the troubleshooter, and if it doesn't help, try the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter as well.
Otherwise, see if reinstalling the touchpad through device manager helps:
- Press Windows Key+X and choose Device Manager.
- Find your touchpad in the list.
- Right-click it and choose Update Driver.
- If that doesn't work, try uninstalling it and then scan for hardware changes to reinstall the driver. You might need to plug an external mouse in, as when you uninstall the touchpad you'll lose the ability to use it until you reinstall the driver.
If that doesn't help, you can try downloading the touchpad drivers from the HP website, which may work better than what Windows installs. Let me know what model your laptop is if you need help finding the correct drivers.
Let me know how you go! Thanks!
