How to remove us.search-find-it.com

So a few months ago I started getting pop-ups that lead to a website called us.search-find-it.com whenever I search something and also my tabs will randomly reset an my home page will be blank till I restart my laptop.

Ive scanned my laptop with Norton many times but it always says there no problems with my laptop.

This same thing happened to my old computer and my only fix was going to a new browser (Which I do not like) and I was wondering if there was any other way to fix it.

Im assuming it some sort of virus or malware but I have no idea.

Hey Ditto. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 9 year Windows MVP and Independent Advisor, here to help you.

Run a full scan with the most powerful on-demand free scanner Malwarebytes:

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

Clean up anything found, restart PC and then run again until it comes up clean.

Check for any remainders in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features, and also in each of your browser's Extensions or Add-On's as shown here: https://community.box.com/t5/How-to-Guides-for-...

Then check for damaged System Files: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-use-sfc-scannow...

If it cannot repair them see Step 10 here to continue: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

If after all of these steps anything remains then see these additional removal steps:

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/...

If you want to keep Malwarebytes as an on-demand scanner then you can disable its Real Time trial version in it's Settings > Accounts tab.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

OK, there are additional steps for removing that infection if needed in the extra link I gave.

Let me know if there's anything else.

Hello Greg. Thanks for helping, I have run a scan with Malwarebytes but it found nothing, I looked though the apps and features and the extensions and add-ons and there was nothing unusual.

I am currently checking for damaged systems files.

I will tell you what happens once its done.
