Removal of everything Logitech

I am no longer using the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 & would like to know how to uninstall all the Logitech software from my computer.

I am using Windows 10 Pro 64Bit.  When I check Settings/Apps/Apps & Features, there is no listing for anything Logitech.  The same goes for Control Panel\Programs\Programs & Features.  But if I open Settings/Apps/Startup or Task Manager>Startup, I see: Logitech Download Assistant.  A full computer search for Logitech shows that there are no Logitech files or folders on my computer.

So how do I get rid of the Logitech Download Assistant?

Disabling it in Task Manager is not the same as removing/deleting/uninstalling it.  And I no longer find it in the Registry under: HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Settings

I was able to remove the Logitech Download Assistant entry.  I went into Device Manager & under Human Interface Devices was an entry w/a Logitech label.  I uninstalled this device & now the Logitech Download Assistant is gone from the Startup programs list in Task Manager.

Hi AZ69, I'm Graeme, an independent adviser here to help.

Firstly, I'd recommend checking msconfig to see if any Logitech Download Assistant entries are there in Startup.

You can access msconfig by searching for it in Start. See if you can find anything related to Logitech in there, and disable it.

Then, if the problem persists, try expanding the process in Task Manager, then right-click the entry inside it and Go To File Location. See if deleting the exe file makes it go away for good.

Please let me know how you go! Thanks!
