In Windows 10, v1809 Superfetch is no longer listed as a service.

How can it be disabled - perhaps via the registry?

Thanks.

sc stop "SysMain" & sc config "SysMain" start=disabled will disable the service as well. Have you tried the command?

    Regards.

Thanks.  It needs to be disabled, not simply stopped.

That service causes the launch of programs via keyboard shortcuts to lag by about three seconds. Launch by mouse click is instantaneous.

Also, some macros may not run properly due to the delay.  This is a longstanding issue.
