Maximum video playback speed?

Hello, I need to glance over a lot of long videos and am spoilt by my Mac's QuickTime's 60x fast forward mode, but would like to change to Windows overall, however, the fastest playback speed of a video player for PC that I could find was Windows Media Player at 16x only (Media Player Classic allegedly fast forwards at up to 124x but in reality it's more like 4x). Is there ANY video player for Windows capable of playing back at at least 60x? Thanks!

    Hi Mithin_EJ,

thank you for your quick reply. However, I had already used the search engine quite intensly but the best I could find was Media Player Classic which allegedly fast forwards at up to 124x, but in reality it‘s even slower than Windows Media Player. So having tried myself already in vain, may I ask you for a specific software which does the job (fast forward >= 60), please?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Bromelio,

Thank you for posting your concern on Microsoft Answer Community.

In Windows Media player the Maximum video playback speed is 16x, there are third party software which can help you in speed the video playback. You can use your favorite search engine to check for one.
