Hello,
I purchased a video editing application called cyberlink powerdirector 10 form the Microsoft store but the application cannot start up. I have contacted Cyberlink powerdirector but haven't been able to make it function or get a refund. I need to know if I can get a refund on this product or get it to work at least.

How long ago did you purchase the app? There a 14 day limit on refunds.
Is there any error message when opening the app?

Requesting a refund is merely a matter of logging into your Microsoft account, navigating to your order history within the Payments and Billing tab, and then selecting the game you wish to refund. If you meet all the criteria, the refund will be instantaneous.
