Some websites still require Silverlight to display correctly. If you use Internet Explorer or Firefox, those browsers still support Silverlight.

The updates provided by Microsoft for Silverlight are just security updates, there is currently no more development of the Silverlight platform . . .

Hi Jessica,

Seems it is not Microsoft's requirement but some site's or software's one.

Silverlight was used for development some years ago, so you may look for later app version without Silverlight requirement.
