HP LaserJet 4050 Series

Have one of the old HP LaserJet 4050 Series that works great. I am running MS Window 10 but I cannot get the driver to install successfully. Error code, "Printer Driver was not installed." Neither can the test page print.

Tried adding the printer with static IP address - still cannot work. Please help if you can.

I am able to add the printer to 2 other machines running MS window 7.

    It took me several tries before it installed my printer but it did finally make the Wifi connection.

    Control Panel .> Programs & Features > Uninstall Programs

    Uninstall the software related to the Printer

    Download the Full Feature Drivers found here:

    If using a PCL5 driver you may wish to switch to PCL 6 driver

    I have already done so and it did not help either. It just refused to take the driver app. I am so surprise with this.
