HP Deskjet 722C driver compatibility with Windows 10

I just got a new laptop (Dell) that has  Windows 10.  I tried installing my hp Deskjet 722C driver but found it to be incompatible.  I really want to use this printer.  Help

    Bob_Headrick answer:

    "With a 64 bit version of Windows 10 the HP Deskjet 722c printer will not work, even with the patch and if you bought a proper converter cable. I spent quite a bit of time on this with Windows 8 and 8.1, and managed to get a computer with an actual parallel port to eliminate the converter as an issue. No success."
