Microsoft stopped supporting your keyboard around version 2 or 3 of their Windows Mouse and Keyboard Center. If yours is current it will be v11.1.137.0 or so.

If you check my rather lengthy post below, you might be able to copy the drivers and settings from an old install into the new version so you will still have support for new devices, but can hopefully use your old favourite keyboard still!

Hi S. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Have you tried the Windows 8 driver which is the last one available for download here: https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-gb/d/d... ?

If necessary try installing in Compatibility Mode. Right click the installer's .exe before installing, and then the program .exe once installed, choose Troubleshoot Compatibility, follow the prompts to test a different Windows Mode and then set the app to install or always run in that mode.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
