trying to link MICROSOFT to EPIC GAMES

my son plays Fortnite, on his computer, NOT Xbox!!!

He bought Microsoft gift card to use on Fortnite and now we r told to link the accounts for him to receive the funds!

its been 72 hours nothing has shown on his account. I cant see how to link a PC Microsoft account to Epic games.

all you and other sites talk about is Xbox, and he doesnt have an online xbox account!

If this isnt going to work how do we get our money back?

    Hi Jacob

This issue requires contacting support, let them put you through a tier 2 support so they can investigate your Microsoft Account, because that is likely where the issue lies why you can't redeem it.

Well Microsoft only supports/Defaults with Xbox gaming,pc gaming takes a back seat..No big deal, try going to youre Microsoft/user account web page.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sitemap.aspx

click on user Account L.sub menu or Microsoft Xbox, contact us.Also, with the rest of U.S. business,week-ends

usually have a minimal staff on hand..Of all businesses, microsoft has always been customer friendly...

Too late in this instance, but EPIC have their own game site now, so you can use their site with their games in future.

Check them out - Epic Games | Store

I don't use the MS Store myself, but they do seem to conflate their XBOX and PC game site. Probably due to MS being

more focused in pushing the XBOX versions of games.

From what I've observed on these forums the stores client software is quite buggy as well.
