See all countries that have been successfully logged in from in your Azure environment

I am trying to build a conditional access policy to block sign-ins from countries that users would never normally sign in from but I want to be sure I am not missing any countries and in turn locking any users out. Is it possible to extract data like this from Azure to be able to see all of the countries users have logged from within my environment?

Thank you for your post!

To see where users have signed in from, you can leverage Sign-in logs in Azure Active Directory. To access the sign-ins log, you need to be a global administrator, Security administrator, Security reader, Global reader, or Report reader.

Yes, this allows me to see all countries logged in on a specific date or time but I'm more looking to aggregate or separate that data by country so I can see all of the countries logged in, not just the ones at a given time or sorted as they occur.

Thank you for the quick response!

From my understanding, you should be able to download the list of sign-ins via JSON or CSV (as far back as a month), and filter the CSV by Location to see a full list of the locations/countries that logged in. I tried this within my tenant and saw that each location was grouped, but unfortunately I didn't have any user logging in from another country to show.

Awesome this is more like what I was looking for. Do I need some sort of Azure subscription to be able to export data like this or am I just missing how to do it?

Thank you for the follow up on this!

You don't need an Azure subscription to download the list of users, you'll only need to be signed into an account with the User Administrator role assigned.

To download a list of users navigate to your Azure Active Directory -> Users -> Bulk Operations
