    Hi,

Thanks for the info, I tried this method, and it does pick up my friends voice but it ended up not picking my voice in return, how do I fix that ?

I tried using the listen to my voice setting but its really annoying to be having to listen to my own voice when recording

I had the same issue, and I realized that Windows Game Bar was automatically *muting* my mic when I clicked the record button (I could see a slash through the mic button icon). The solution was to click the record button, let Windows Game Bar automatically mute my mic, and then click the mic button to unmute it.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply and appreciate your efforts to work on this issue.

As Discord is not picking up any audio, suggest you to try to reset the voice settings on Discord and check if that helps. To get help with the reset of voice settings, you can contact the Discord support: https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us

    Hi CharlieHarken,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

Appreciate your efforts to work on this issue.

I can understand the situation must be difficult for you when things like configuration settings doesn't work as it should.

    1. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to this issue?
    2. Which game are you referring to?
    3. Does this issue occur when you play other games also?

However, let us try these methods one by one to check if that makes any difference.

Method A: Press Windows key + Alt + M to enable Microphone shortcut for Gamebar.

Troubleshoot Game DVR on Windows 10’.

Method B: You may also try to turn off the Game bar and restart your computer before turning it on again.

Fix problems with Game bar on Windows 10’.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes.
