Playing video from an ISO file on Windows 10

I can mount the ISO file to a drive (e.g. H:) but can't seem to get AutoPlay working for that drive. AutoPlay doesn't show with a right click as it does for the physical DVD drive. 

(Any other way to play the video content with standard MS win10 software would also be OK.)

    Hi CTM99, I'm Graeme, an independent adviser here to help.

    The autoplay functionality might not work depending on how the ISO file was configured at creation, but I'll give you two other ways to play the DVD.

    Firstly, see if you can play the ISO DVD using Windows Media Player. Here's a tutorial on how to do this, which should work just the same with a virtual DVD:

    Otherwise, try downloading a DVD player from the Microsoft Store to see if that works. Here's an article that shows you how to get a trial version of Windows DVD Player:

    Thanks Graeme,

    I did actually have Windows DVD PLayer installed.  When I run that, it does detect and play a mounted ISO.

    (Media Player doesn't seem to help.)
