I have completed those steps as well. The driver is installed on the remote computer, I’m pointing it to the correct IP address, it recognizes it, it just gets stuck when I send it to the printer and nothing happens.
Dymo LabelWriter 450 Sharing via Windows 10
I'm trying to share a Dymo LabelWriter 450 printer over a network. All of our computers are running windows 10 pro. The printer is connected via USP port and working on the local printer. I've downloaded drivers for the other computers (DLS8Setup.8.5.3; it won't allow me to add the DCDSetup1.0 or 1.0.1 > those continually fail > not sure if that's important) and I have the other computers seeing the printer on the local computer via the IP address but it won't print. Please help!!! I have been working on this for over 8 hours with no luck. I am not a network engineer or IT person, so the easiest terms possible would be most helpful.
Thanks,
Stephanie

2019-04-15T00:16:32+00:00 Hi Stephanie
My name is May, I am an Independent advisor, here to help you.
Here's some basic instructions that will help you to achieve this:
Before you start, just try to print a label from your PC, to make sure that the LabelWriter is functioning correctly.
- Open the Printers folder. (depending on your OS, you will need to go to Start > Settings > Printers, or Start > Control Panel > Printers & Faxes
- Right-click on the LabelWriter you wish to share and select Sharing.
- On another PC on your network, install DLS ( free Label Software).
- When prompted to choose a connection type, select Network/LAN and follow the on-screen instructions.
When installation is complete you should be able to print to the Dymo LabelWriter from both local and network workstations.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes.

2019-04-15T00:47:33+00:00 Try this please.
Step 1:
Install printer driver on the second machine you want to print from.(That you have already installed)
-
Step 2:
Add a new printer - Select "Add a wireless, bluetooth or network printer"
Select: "The printer i wanted is not listed"
-
Step 3:
Click "Select a shared printer by name"
Click "Browse"
-
Step 4:
Locate the pc where the printer is installed on. (Either via the IP address or computer name)
Double click the printer you want.
-
This should install correctly and not ask you for the driver. (Cause you have already installed the driver in step 1)
In case it does ask you for the driver, you will have to point to the folder where the driver is located and double click the .ini file.
Let me know if it work.
