I have been running Windows 10 and others before without problem. Suddenly, today, I get an error message when trying to run some DOS programs. The error is:
16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem
Command Prompt - program
config.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose Close to terminate the application.
HELP. Thanks, Horst Truestedt

16-bit applications aren't supported on Windows 10. You can install an MS-DOS virtual machine (which is what I do) or install a DOS emulator like DOSBox.
I checked the Command.com, autoexec.nt, and config.nt and they are all as indicated in your previous note.
I don't have the CD for Windows 10. An Windows update occurred yesterday - these programs have worked for many years before today.
