We are using Tasks by Planner among three people. How can I get a Teams notification when someone completes a task I've assigned to them?

    Hi @Doug Bowman ,

I think it’s expected to have no task completed notifications.
    As this documents describes:

And based on my tests, The Tasks by Planner only sends notifications when the task is assigned to someone:

    • When we are assigned a task, we will receive a notification like this:

    • When the task is completed, we’ll not receive notifications like pop-ups or Activities. Instead, you could see a note in the Tasks by Planner panel like:

    Best regards,
    Lou

You should be able to get notifications when a task is assigned, updated and closed. These would show in the activity tab in teams.
If you do not get any notifications you may want to check: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-planner-in-microsoft-teams-62798a9f-e8f7-4722-a700-27dd28a06ee0
    Hope this helps.
