Hi cc_958
That WWAN card is only supported from Windows XP up to Windows 10, Dell does however provide a Windows 8 driver, which does work sometimes, but not on Windows 10
Dell Wireless cards are not actually Dell components, they just rename them, that is most likely a Broadcom or Atheros card
In Device Manager, right click that device and choose Properties
On the resulting dialog, choose the Details Tab and change the Property drop down to Hardware Id's
Right click the top item in the resulting list and choose Copy
Paste that hardware Id into your next post . ..
Hi!
They all appear to be different as shown in the image below:
Hardware IDs:
GPS Port:
USB\VID_413C&PID_8194&REV_0002&MI_03
USB\VID_413C&PID_8194&MI_03
Mini-Card (The one in "other devices"):
USB\VID_413C&PID_8194&REV_0002&MI_00
USB\VID_413C&PID_8194&MI_00
Status Port:
USB\VID_413C&PID_8194&REV_0002&MI_01
USB\VID_413C&PID_8194&MI_01
The card is actually a Novatel Wireless one.
