I had a phone 6S and always use Onedrive for my photos and video. Worked well every time. Just to an Iphone XR, want to use the same one drive app for the same purpose.  Unfortunately there are no sounds in the reading some vidos. Looked at my settins, called Apple....seem to say that is the one dirve app the problem and Microsoft should fix the issue. Do you know something about that

Thank you

could you tell me how to do that ? is there a free converter you would recommend i.e. safe and not asking you for money as soon as start using it ....

don't you think it would be smarter and wiser for Micrisoft to make sure the onedrive app would read perfectly all kinds of video format , instead of wise apple giving up many formats and trying to direct you more towards their cloud instead of the user's personal choice

I appreciate your support and replies

I did not have any issue previously with my Iphone 6s as I mentioned. the videos with no sound is a 176X144 and is a .3gp I believe , compare with those working properly which are 720X1280 and.mov.

I did also try to delete and reinstall the app form the appstore  with mo success too

    Hi,

I am Ganesh Gandhi, an Independent Advisor, 18 years experienced windows guide. I am here to work with you on this problem.

Kindly follow these steps to fix audio missing issue:

    1. You may need update your Windows Media Player to the latest version.
    2. Also convert iPhone HEVC videos to H.264 format for audio issues in windows 10.

If your iPhone video format is not supported by the player, you can use a video converter to change these videos into other supported formats after transferring these items from your iPhone to PC.

    Hi,

I'm Diego Rios, an Independent Advisor willing to help other Microsoft customers.

Try to open any browser, then log in to https://onedrive.live.com if you got any error messages let me know, if you can allow to access to your account and the app works properly when you play videos. Please, you can try the following troubleshoot below for the iOS devices:

Verified if the OneDrive is Update, If sync doesn't work, OneDrive is not launching or OneDrive is crashing, please try to re-install OneDrive:

Uninstall the OneDrive app by pressing and holding the OneDrive app icon. Tap the 'X' in the corner and then accept the confirmation message to delete it.

Perform a “soft reset” by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. You can let go of both buttons after the Apple logo appears.

Reinstall the OneDrive app from the App Store.

Make sure that OneDrive is kept up-to-date by enabling it in your device's Settings > General > Background App Refresh.

You may find that enabling location services for OneDrive helps, especially if it’s during background sync. You can turn Location Services on or off at Settings > Privacy > Location Services.

Please let me know if this helped and works.

    Best Regards,

    Diego R.
