    HP report the WiFi Direct password for that printer is 12345678

    Hi Debbie, I'm Graeme, an independent adviser here to help.

    It sounds like you're connecting directly to the printer instead of printing over your network, which is why it would be asking for a password.

    You could try the default HP Direct password, which is 12345678.

    That should help you direct connect, otherwise you could try printing through your wireless network.
