    Hi TwylaPatterson.

Here you have two options on how to activate the Java plugin.

    > Activation of Java in the browser using the Java Control Panel

    1. In the Java Control Panel, click on the Security tab.
    2. Select the option Activate Java content in the browser.
    3. Click Apply, and then OK to confirm the changes.
    4. Restart the browser to activate the changes.

    > Follow these instructions to activate Java through the web browser.

    1. Open the Firefox browser or restart it if it was already running
    2. In the Firefox menu, select Tools, and then click on the Add-ons option
    3. In the Add-in Manager window, select Add-ons
    4. Click on the Java (TM) Platform (Windows) plugin or Java Applet Plug-in (Mac OS X) to select it
    5. Check that the option selected is Ask before activating or Activate always. In old versions of Firefox, click on the Activate button (if the button shows Deactivate, Java is already activated)

Firefox stopped supporting the Java plug in back in September of 2018. This means that Firefox V52 and later will never run the Java plug in. The support for it was removed completely.

It might be possible to run it as a Web Start application. See thisL https://www.java.com/en/download/faq/java_webst.... Note that this is not a Microsoft web site, obviously.
