Hello my name is Brad and I'm an Independent Advisor for the Microsoft Community and I wanted to assist my colleagues on fixing your issues with accessing the internet via your LAN's proxy server.

I think the best way to resolve this is to start with the simpler methods first.

Let's first begin by resetting your IP address and proxy settings by following these steps:

    1. Press "Windows Key+R" (this opens the Run dialogue)
    2. Type cmd and be sure to press "Ctrl+Shift+Enter" (this run automatically run the command line as an Administrator, if you don't press the key combination, the command line won't have the rights to run the next steps).
    3. Type ipconfig/release and press enter. wait a few seconds then
    4. Type ipconfig/renew and press enter. Please wait for the command to complete.
    5. Type exit and press enter to close the command line.
    6. Test and see if the programs other than Google Chrome can access the internet.

Please let me know if the above process helps and if it doesn't we'll try a different solution.

I don't think you understand the issue here.

Resetting the network and updating drivers don't do anything
