I updated Windows, since that moment I have been unable to boot my Surface Pro 4 laptop.

I got an error 0xc0210000 when booting.

I press Windows key, but it presents another recovery screen saying to press the Windows key to use a different OS.

After that the BitLocker recovery screen shows up.

But when I enter the BitLocker code, the original screen goes back

Hello Patricia, my name is Alexander. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'm happy to assist you!

Method 1: Power cycle the computer.

    1. Start with unplugging all external devices except for Keyboard and mouse.
    2. Power off the System.
    3. Hold 15-20 secs to power it back on.
    4. Enter the BitLocker key.

Method 2: Try to disable Bitlocker.

If the above method doesn’t help, I recommend that you refer to the article and perform the instructions:

Restart failure if Device Guard or Credential Guard isn’t disabled correctly in Windows 10

Note: Make sure that you follow the steps carefully because modifying the registry incorrectly might lead to serious problems. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

    Please refer to the article:

    Best regards,

    Alexander B.
