What the heck is going on with my bluetooth Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse...?

Ever since the 1809 update (and subsequent updates) the mouse won't select when you click on things the first time you click, and sometimes it won't on the second or third time either... I've changed bluetooth adapters. I've replaced the batteries multiple times. I've repaired the device through bluetooth multiple times. I've uninstalled the device, uninstalled the drivers, and reinstalled MULTIPLE times. I've uninstalled the software (https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/products/mice/sculpt-comfort-mouse/h3s-00003#techspecs-connect), and reinstalled MULTIPLE times. NOTHING WORKS. My co-workers are also experiencing the same issues!! Please fix these issues ASAP!

    Hi Paul,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand the inconvenience you are facing with the working of Mouse. I appreciate your effort in trying to fix the issue.

Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

    1. What is the make and model of the computer?
    2. Is your computer connected to domain network?

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and let us know if that helps.

    1. Close all your open apps: Then see if the cursor improves. If it does, the number of open apps might have been interfering with your PC’s connection to the mouse.
    2. Restart your PC. This will refresh the drivers.
    3. Change the cursor settings. Select the Startbutton, and then select Settings > Devices > Mouse > Additional mouse options > Pointer Options and adjust the pointer speed.

If the issue still persists try installing the latest edition of Mouse and Keyboard Center and check the status of the issue.

I see that you have already tried changing the Bluetooth adapters, however please refer the section ‘**To manually install the Bluetooth driver’**and ‘Uninstall the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager’ from the article **Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows 10**to verify whether the steps you have tried was in the same procedure.

You may also the section Hardware support if the issue still persists.

    Hope it helps.

    Ummm... Yeah... That didn't work...

    So just an update...

It was too much of a hassle to talk to anyone at Microsoft, so we decided to purchase some Logitech Freedom Plus M557 mice, because we has to stop screwing around with the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mice... It's a damn shame, because we REALLY like them and ergonomically, they're SO MUCH better, but the Logitech's just freaking work... Maybe one day they'll work again, but at this point I don't think anyone cares...
