    Hi Suriyaban

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

There is an updated driver from May 2018 for the Fingerprint reader. Did you try applying that?

I would also recommend you file a bug report; send me the short link so I can vote on it and bring it to the attention of the Windows engineers.

    1. Restart the Windows Biometric Service (WBS)

    Start > Type Services.msc > Press Enter

Right click on the Service > Select Properties

Click on Stop if the service is running

If the Service is not running click on Start

Right click on Start > Select Device Manager

Toggle Synaptics FP Sensors to Disable then Reenable the service.

    1. If service is not running, try using Compatibility Mode for the driver.

    1. Go into Bios and verify the service is available and enabled on the unit.

    1. On a Lenovo System

To fix this issue, you have to uninstall the Lenovo Fingerprint Manager Pro or Lenovo Fingerprint Manager from Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, and then re-enroll the fingerprints in Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options > Windows Hello in Windows 10.
