Hi Brian

Is that the Windows live mail Application or were you accessing that in a browser?

Either Way, Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc)

Find that application on Processes Tab, right click and choose 'Open File Location'

Note down the exact path to that, and then add that to the list . ..

I know this is a pain to do, Microsoft really should make this process easier to do. But honestly there is a lot of ransomware around at the moment and you don't want to leave your system vulnerable . ..

Hi Brian

I am sorry, please do not leave Controlled Folder Access turned off - you will leave your PC open to a Ransomware attack

Since turning off Controlled Folder Access worked, you now need to add the application that could not save previously to the list of allowed apps in Controlled Folder Access and then turn that feature back on . . .

Open Windows Defender Security Center

Go to Virus & threat protection - Virus & threat protection settings

Scroll down to Controlled folder access

If so, from there, you can add an app to the list of safe or allowed apps to prevent them from being blocked

Please do not leave Controlled Folder Access turned off permanently
