New hard disk drive.  Question 1: Does a new Windows 10 (Pro - Enterprise) install include any visual c++ redistributables as part of the operating system?  Question 2: Does a new Microsoft Office install include any visual c++ redistributables as part of Office? Yes -- C++ Redistributables can be installed separately [after] O/S and Office installs. Your time and assistance is appreciated.

Hi Brett. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP here to help you.

Here's everything you need to know about C++ Redistributables In WIndows 10:

Neither WIndows nor Officer have VC++ included.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you'll wait to rate whether my post helped you, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

Yes.  Go Control Panel, Programs and Features and in the upper left click on Turn Windows features on or off.  .NET Framework 3.5 is at the top.
