Qualcomm driver missing; No WiFi connection

Today, I am using a X507U Asus Laptop with Windows 10. The WiFi connection was perfectly fine just hours ago but now I can't connect to my WiFi although other devices like my phone and another laptop is unaffected by this loss.

As I try to do the device manager solution, I was not able to find the qualcomm driver which is why I am now asking for technical support because I can't really find other ways to solve this. This problem only happened today and it worries me since I have things to accomplish within the week.

These are the information I knew of:

Qualcomm Atheros AR956x

My last update was on May 4, 2019

KB2565063 version 10.0.40219

I may provide additional information, but please guide me how to find such info for I am inept with computer technicals.

    Hi IPastilan

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

You can download the driver at the following link:

    https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/DriversFo...

    Source: https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ASUS-Laptop-X507UA...

You can go to another computer with a working Internet connection, download it there, save it to a thumb drive then install on the target computer.

Hi IPastilan, before you do anything else, please try this:

Click your Start Button, type cmd and choose Command Prompt

Run this command and hit Enter:

    ipconfig /flushdns

    Close Command Prompt

    Open the Settings App

    Go to Network and Internet

    Click the Network Reset button

Wait for your PC to automatically restart after 5 minutes

Yes, it does in fact have the qualcomm mentioned above, although when I checked my network adapters, I cannot find any Wireless adapters.

    Hi IPastilan

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

Go to the drivers page of X507UA. Please select the model and OS and you will find the wireless driver. I see Realtek wireless driver here not Atheros Qualcomm which is for this model. You should download and install this.

Please report back me the results so that I can advise further steps if your problem is not solved.

    Hi IPastilan

Are you sure, you have a Qualcomm Atheros AR956x on that Asus X507U?

There are 2 models of that laptop and Asus reports both have an Intel Wireless adapter and a Qualcomm Bluetooth radio . . .

This is the support page for your device on the Asus website

    https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ASUS-Laptop-X507UA...

If you do in fact have an AR956x WiFi adapter on that, here is the link to download the driver for that:
