Convert MTS format to MP3

How can I change a video in MTS to MP3 using a Microsoft product?  I've tried WIN Media Player and it doesn't seem to do it.  Thank you.

    There isn't a native solution, but I recommend you check out Cloud Convert which I have used in the past convert video files to audio.

    Have you gone Settings, Apps, Default apps, Choose default app by file type and set Windows Media Player for the app for .MTS

    Hi there bvalley,

    Evan here, an independent adviser. Hope I can help today! The only program I know has this capability is something called Handbrake.

    I would let you know though that the process can be difficult and can take some time. There's no built in Windows App that will be able to assist you with this.
