Microsoft Windows Network: Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.

This connection has not been restored.

    You likely need to adjust the permissions on the shared resourced to permit multiple users.

    Right click the folder you are sharing

    Click Properties

    Click Security

    Click Edit

    Click Add

    Click Advanced

    Click Find Now

    Select Everyone

    Change the permissions to full

    Click Apply then OK

    What causes below error message and how to fix it?

    Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.

    You're trying to connect to more than one share, using different credentials.

    The solution is in the error message: Disconnect all existing share connections, then try again.
