Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol

I am trying unsuccessfully to enable  the Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol in my Ethernet Properties for Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller. I need this to reduce the drop-offs I get with several ethernet connected radios I use.

The prompts ask for the disk, which I do not have (or do not know where it is in my computer). I also cannot find a download for this protocol.

How can I successfully activate the Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol?

Thank you,

Ed P.

    Hi

My name is Lee; an Independent Consultant, I'm here to help you with your problem.

    Navigate to this location

    Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections

Right click on the ethernet > properties

If you are missing the options click on install and follow the screenshot

If you can see the default network setting does not tick Multiplexor Protocol by default so you can tick and press apply and restart your computer

    Thanks

Sorry, this I think is the standard procedure, but it does not work on any of my Windows 10 computers. Checking the box takes one to the next set of instructions to install the protocol, which in turn asks if I have the file on a disk, which I do not. Nor can I find any place to download it, so perhaps there is another way?
