Hi lorbri. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP here to help you.

See if you can Reset the app at Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Power Media Player > Advanced Settings > Reset or Repair.

If not then you can uninstall it in the same place, then download and reinstall from this link: https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/s...

If you're using this as a free DVD player for WIndows 10, another popular choice to try is VLC here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

If you prefer that then you could uninstall the Dell player and use VLC which is less bloated and causes less issues than PowerDVD products.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you'll wait to rate whether my post helped you, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

    Hi lorbri23

Did Cyberlink Power Media Player come pre-installed on your Dell System?

If so, a Windows update may have corrupted that application

Your best option is to, uninstall Cyberlink form your PC, then go to the support page for your system on the Dell website and from there, download and install the Cyberlink software again

If you have any difficulty locating the support page for your Dell system, what is the Make and Exact Model No. of your PC - that will be printed on a sticker on the bottom casing . ..
