It is not disabled but it may be turned on.

Go Settings, System, Power & Sleep, Additional Power settings, Choose what the power buttons do, Change settings that are currently unavailable, Under Shutdown settings click Hibernate  so there is a check in front.

    Hi Phuoc

Hibernate is disabled by default in Windows 10, because Windows uses a process called Fast Startup, which essentially is the same as the old Hibernate function

When you shut down your PC, the state of RAM is written to your hard drive.

You can re-enable Hibernation in Windows 10 if you wish . . .

Open the old Control Panel, go to Power Options

On the left, click 'Choose what closing the lid does'

At the top, click 'Change Settings that are currently unavailable'

At the bottom, you should be able to re-enable Hibernate on your Power Button . . .

    1. Press Windows + s
    2. Type "Control Panel" without quotes and press ENTER
    3. Click on "Show for" and select "Large icon"
    4. Click on "Battery saving option"
    5. Click on "Specific behavior of power buttons"
    6. Click on "Edit not available setting"
    7. Click on "Hibernate"

    8.Click on "Save changes"

This is not true Dave. Fast Startup is not Hibernate.

Hibernate is not an option if InstantGo is supported and enabled on the device. If InstantGo is not enabled and hibernate is still off, it has simply been disabled. A lot of mid-to-high end laptops support InstantGo, and the feature is turned on by default.
