Hello i got a problem.

I have windows 10 pro Version 1809 build 17763.557. with genuine windows installed with key.

This is my problem.

I wanted to install some programs that require .netframework 3.5. It's just a luncher for a game i am playing.

So i installed the program and it says i need .netframework 3.5 but the problem is i checked and i got .netframework 3.5 already installed.

I made a few minutes ago an update just to make sure nothing is wrong and everything is up to date but the same problem keeps coming up.

Any ideas ?

Thank you !

You need to enable .Net feature in Program and features.

Perform the steps given below to enable it :-

    1. Press " windows + r " together and type " appwiz.cpl " ( Without Quotes ) in the pop up box and hit enter. It will open program and Features Window.
    2. Look for " Turn windows Features on or off ". Once find click on that to open it.

    3. Select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box, select OK, and reboot your computer if prompted.

Note :- ou don't need to select the child items for Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) HTTP Activation and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Non-HTTP Activation

Once you are done with this steps :-

    1. Press " windows + r " together and type " appwiz.cpl " ( Without Quotes ) in the pop up box and hit enter. Right click on .net framework and uninstall it completely. And then restart your system to take the new changes.

    1. After restart, go to this link :- https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=21   , Download a fresh copy of .Net framework and install in on your system ands then again restart your system to take the changes.

    It will resolve your issue.

    Thank You

    I recommend using SFC

Press the Start key and type the word CMD, right click on the command prompt and select Run as administrator, enter the following commands one by one followed by the Enter key:

    •- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    •- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    •- DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

    •- sfc /scannow

"It's just a luncher for a game i am playing."

    • What do you mean by 'just a launcher' ? Is this a small game that does not require installation, or.... ?

If you are speaking of a game installer, what game, and is it disc based or a download from Steam or another online game retailer ?

    • .NET 3.5 hasn't been disabled in - Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off ?
    • .NET, DirectX and Visual C++ interact with one another, and Windows sometimes pops up an error pointing to the wrong thing.

C++ is a more likely culprit than DX though.

Nope.. This did not fix it. Still the same problem.

I have .netframework 3.5 installed but the program says it's not there :)
