BUDA folder on my USB SD reappears after deleting

I attached to my Windows 10 an SD memory card to add videos, but a folder called BUDA reappears after deleting. BUDA folder is empty and I don't understand why it is there.  I deleted it several times but it keeps coming.  I do not believe in BUDA and I do not want such a folder in my storage SD.   Whoever chosen this name seems to be pushing his own religious  agenda on me.  I need help to wipe it off once and for all.

Thanks,

Al

    Hi Al

The BUDA folder is automatically generated when you connect a flash drive to an Internet Enabled Blue Ray device . . .

Do you connect that flash drive to a BlueRay Player?

Of so, on that device, in settings look for a BD Internet Connection setting and set that to disabled

Thank you so much for the response.  The computer is certainly not infected.  I done a little research and I discovered that even if the external drive is empty and you attach it to a SONY DVD player, Sony adds the BUDA folder as a stamp, because all of Sony DVD model names have "BD"

    Thanks again,

    al

    Hi Michael

I would try scanning the drive.

Use Malwarebytes to scan and clean the computer.

Also use ESET Sysrescue offline scanner to scan and clean the computer, see instructions in the following article:
