So i own a FIIO E10k DAC/AMP the asio drivers that they have make my PC BSOD,this is a well known problem among both asio users and E10K users

That's why they recommend using the windows audio drivers that automatically install when you plug it in...

for some reason i can't do that the audio driver does not want to work and i get a code 10...please help

the device doesn't show in the sound playback either :/ with the asio drivers it does.

Picture for more details and i can answer everything thats needed to be asked...

As always thanks for the help...

    Hi Florian,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand your concern. In order to get clarity, we would need some more information regarding the issue.

    1. May I know the build version of Windows, your system currently running on? Please refer Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
    2. Was there any major change on your system prior to which you weren't facing the issue?
    3. Has audio ever worked before with amplifier?
    4. Are you facing this issue with the amplifier when you connect it to any other system?

We recommend you to follow the methods mentioned below and check if it resolves the issue.

Method 1: Uninstall driver and update driver for audio.

    1. Open Device Manager.
    2. Under Sound, video and game controllers, right click on FiiO USB DAC-E1 driver and choose Uninstall device.
    3. Make sure to check the box behind Delete the driver software for this driver in the pop-up dialog box.
    4. Then right click on Realtek(R) Audio and choose Update driver.
    5. Follow onscreen instruction to complete the process.
    6. Restart the computer.

Method 2: Set default audio device.

    1. Go to Start > Settings > System.
    2. Click on Sound on left pane.
    3. Then click on Sound Control Panel link under Related settings on right pane.
    4. Go to Playback tab, select the device (E10k DAC) using the left click and click on Set Default and check.

If the issue still persists, we recommend you to refer Fix sound problems in Windows 10 more further troubleshooting steps and try performing the same apart from the one which is already performed.

    Regards,
