Hello Microsoft Community,

I am using a Dell Inspiron 5570 and I have a D drive that has free space and I would like to put some files on it, however I noticed a folder named "DummyDir" and I was wondering if it is OK to delete that folder, so I can put my files on my D drive. The folder has no files in it.

Thanks.

    Hi BenH589

Yes you can safely delete the DummyDir folder from your D drive, that is left over from driver installations, that folder does not contain anything required by your system to function correctly . . .

Did you look into the folder to see what was there?  If it is not something you want you can Delete it by right clicking on the folder and then click on Delete.
