Completely Disabling MS GS WAVETABLE SYNTH

So I'm trying to use ASIO4ALL with Studio One for audio production (which requires Exclusive Mode on my audio inderface), and all of a sudden, I'm getting an error because it says MS GS WAVETABLE SYNTH is enabled. I've looked in all the forums I can find on multiple websites, and none of those solutions given are working for me. They all say to disable Exclusive Mode, and when I do, Studio One won't let me use the microphone because it requires exclusive control of the device. I found the driver for Microsoft Wavetable Synth and whenever I uninstall it, it reinstalls itself. Any solutions?

I'm using a Behringer UM2 interface hooked up to my Toshiba Satellite C55-A laptop (which has been upgraded to 8gb of memory and has an upgraded 1tb WD Blue hard drive). I'm running ASIO4ALL v.2.14 and have all the latest windows updates installed (spring 2019 update). I am using Studio One 4 Prime.

    I just tried that (and restarted), and I'm still getting the same error as before. The error goes something like this:

    PIN

    Name: "Capture"

    Status: Unavailable!

    ->In use by another application?

    ->'MS GS Wavetable Synth' Enabled!

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    The GS Wavetable synth and ASIO driver use the same port, but the settings are set so that only one of them can be used at a time. If you uninstall the drivers which are part of the operating system, they get reinstalled on system reboot and hence cannot be removed completely. However, with your current configuration, let’s try to make your device and app work by disabling the MS GS Wavetable synthesizer.

    • Right click on Start and select Device Manager.
    • Click on View menu and click on Show hidden devices.
    • Expand Software devices.
    • Right click on Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth and select Disable device and click Yes to confirm the action.
    • Reboot the computer and let us know if the device works and Studio app can access the microphone.

    Awaiting your response.

    Regards,
