You can try system restore, if that does not work, unfortunately, you have lost that file.

    Press Windows key + R

    Type: rstrui.exe

    Hit Enter

This will start the system restore wizard. Choose a restore point more before the problem started.

    Hi AS_541

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

In the folder where you cut the file, can you right click then click Undo move if the option is available?

I wold also try refreshing the folder (F5 on your keyboard) to see if the file appears in full.

You can also restart the computer then try accessing the file again.
