After the technician uninstall intel graphics, insert his usb mouse, flash drive and hard drive my touchpad stop. Then, before he upgraded it to windows 10, the touchpad was not working and when he upgraded it it does't change anything. I don't know what is the possible cause that stop my touchpad to work. In device manager, I did not see the mouse and other devices but when I insert my usb mouse it can be seen. I also try to use fn+f7 where it will able or disable my touchpad but it was not working. I try to download the intel graphics driver again but it doesn't change anything in my touchpad. Please help me

Updating the BIOS could harm your laptop if not done correctly. If a bios update failed because of a power issue or something. Always ensure you have the correct bios update file, the one I provided is direct from Acer using your SNID to identify the device.

But if you follow my instructions, ensuring you have plenty of charge, make sure you have the laptop plugged in and make sure you wait until the bios update completes you will be fine, Never ever turn off a laptop or touch anything while the bios is upgrading.

    Kind regards,

    Matt

    Hi reginemanuelSHANAKZ

On your keybprd, check the F7 key, does that have a Touchpad symbol with a hand?

If so, try pressing Fn + F7 to see if that turns on/off your Touchpad

Something else I would highly recommend is updating the BIOS from the acer driver site for your device. I often see touchpads stop working after Windows upgrades and BIOS update can ofter fix them.

    Note when updating bios:

Ensure that the device has minimum of 30% battery and make sure it is plugged in to AC power. Also never turn off the device during the BIOS upgrade process and ensure you let it fully complete.

    Hello reginemanuelSHANAKZ 22,

I am Matt, an Independent Advisor and a specialist technician. I would like to assist you with this and hopefully I can help you to resolve this issue promptly.

Please try and download the touchpad driver from the Acer drive site.

    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/AU/content/drivers

The driver will be called "Touchpad Driver". I see you have tried the intel graphics driver without success. Hopefully the touchpad driver will work.

I really hope this helps, let me know if I can be of more assistance. Have a great day.
