    Hi LA117

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

Windows Key+X > Device Manager > Under Display Adapters, locate this hd graphics 530 > Right Click > Disable device and restart your computer

If nVidia is still not set, go to Control Panel of nVidia and elect 3D Settings then select Manage 3D Settings in the tab Preferred Graphics Processor, select High performance NVidia processor.

you can do what is above (because it works), but, atleast for now, you wont be able to use a second monitor from what i know

We can wait and see if there is a solution

(Edit: My laptop display also switched to microsoft basic display; it had intel drivers before)

    Hi LA117

When you have dual graphics on a Windows PC, it is best to use the Intel HD or UHD graphics for normal use

Then depending o your version of Windows, you can set individual Apps to run on your dedicated graphics

Click your Start Button, type winver and hit Enter

On the resulting dialog, what version of Windows 10 are you running?

If you are not already running version 1903 of Windows 10, you should update to that version

Click the link below, then click 'Update Now' on that page to immediately get 1903 and bring your PC right up to date

Once you have version 1903 of Windows 10, you can right click the icon of any application and set that application to run on the dedicated graphics card . ..
