Just started to happen.

Error message states "no access permissions to the item". Ensure that you have the right permissions to allow the item to sync".

What could have caused this and what do I do to repair it?

Hi WR. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP here to help you.

Try deleting the file and adding it again from a fresh download.

It may have to do with the download source.

No expert in forums any longer recommends CCleaner since it was bought by Avast bloatware and lost it's genius developer who had maintained it perfectly for years. I would only use the tools built into Windows now. All WIndows needs is a great install and it will take care of itself.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you'll wait to rate whether my post helped you, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

    Thanks Greg,

I just found that for some reason CCleaner security setting had changed and I had no permissions allowed. By editing that I was able to restore sync.

However, I was not aware of the changes at CCleaner and will probably take your advice and ditch it. Thanks for that scoop!
