Windows 7 dell disc on a acer laptop

So I have a windows 7 install disc made for my dell pc and want to put it on my Acer laptop, will I run into any problems?

    What is this "Windows 7 install disk"? What does it say on the label?

    The laptop came with 8.1 but is way too slow and I already have a key from a different pc.

    YES.  You can use the Dell install disk on your Acer.  However, you will still need the Microsoft Product Key that came on the Acer to activate.
