Keyboard without Windows key

I don't have a Win-key on my old trusted IBM keyboard which I don't want to replace...

How can I simulate the Win-key? 'Alt' + any numeric key(s)? Which?

Thanks

If you press CTRL+ESC the Start Menu opens, which is what pressing the Windows Logo key alone will do.

To get a "substitute" Windows Logo key, see the discussion here for several suggestions:   https://superuser.com/questions/333445/simulating-the-windows-key-on-an-old-keyboard

I do not have a better solution than you already received from Lem.  However, I am curious why you are concerned.  I have been using keyboards with that key on it for years and frankly, never used it intentionally.  As far as I am concerned, I would be happy if mine did not work.

Download, install, and use the free Sharpkeys, at https://www.randyrants.com/category/sharpkeys/
