Please try these suggestions and see if they helps.
- Test SD Card on different system or get a new card reader.
- Try to change the drive letter of Unrecognized SD Card:
- Press Windows + X, select Disk Management.
- If you see your SD card is listed there but there is no Drive Letter, right click it.
- Select Change Drive Letter and Paths.
- Click Add.
- Click Assign the following drive Letter.
- Click in the Drive Letter List Box.
- Choose an appropriate Drive Letter.
- Click OK, OK.
- Run CHKDSK command-line tool to make the SD Card detectable:
- Open administrative Command Prompt
- Type chkdsk X: / f and press Enter key. Make sure you replace X: with SD card drive letter.
- Let the command execution complete.
- Update the SD Card Driver:
- Open Device Manager.
- Under Disk drives locate your SD card and right click.
- Select Update driver.
- Proceed with on-screen instructions.
- Force SD Card to Show Up: A virus/malware attack may hide or encrypt your SD card, try these steps to unhide it:
- Open administrative Command Prompt.
- Type attrib -h -r -s /s /d X:\*.* and press Enter key. Make sure you replace X: with SD card drive letter.
- Let the command execution complete.
- If you still face the issue, and data on card is extremely important for you, you need to contact professional data recovery tools or services.
