Gaming PC suddenly extremely slow during boot (No startup programs are allowed)

Hello,

I have a Lenovo Legion Y530-15ICH gaming laptop. Recently, particularly after a Windows Update caused a black screen desktop (ironically fixed via another Windows update) boot times have been upwards of 4-5 minutes, when it was previously near 45 seconds. I have no idea what the problem could be as no programs begin on startup except for critical processes. I have also noticed a downgrade in performance of the computer past boot, and it freezes constantly during the installation of any program. Specifications & screenshots are below. Also, please note, I've only had this computer for near 8 months however it did come refurbished, which does bring HDD failure concerns, but it is covered under warranty nevertheless.

CPU: Intel Core i7-8750H (@ 2.20GHz)

Memory: 16GB DDR4 2666MHz

Storage (HDD): 1 TB 7200 RPM Sata Hard Drive

Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB

Other Specifications:

Windows 10 Home

Thanks, Ill.

I recommend you check these methods to repair any Windows problem.

    •- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    •- DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    •- DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
