Windows 10 Pro 64bit Version 1903 OS Build 18362.145, Preview Version?????

I have recently been notified by a games tech support team that my current version of Windows 10 Pro 64bit is Build 18362 is a Preview Build of Windows 10 Pro 64bit. They also explain that a preview Build and is not finalized, most games aren't meant to run on it. When I upgraded why did I receive a copy of a non finalized version of Windows 10 Pro 64bit? I purchased a full legal copy of Windows 7 Pro 64Bit and took advantage of the free upgrade. Shouldn't I have received a full finalized version of Windows 10 Pro 64Bit? What is a Preview Build anyway and what are the limitations? I'm stuck and don't know how to proceed? Can anyone help? I don't wish to pay for Windows Support to solve this issue and their Virtual Assistant is worthless with this issue!

Win 10 v1903, build 18362 is already released to public and it's not any previews as Game tech think its.

Check for updates to get latest update to build 18362.175 released on last Tuesday.

There is known issues with gamers in this Windows version.

    Check these links:

Previews are beta versions of next Windows versions which will be released to public later in the future.

At the moment those who joined to Windows Insider Program are testing Windows version 20H1 which

will be releaser to public May/April 2020.

    Hello Launchone,

My name is Patricia and I am an Independent Advisor. I am here to help you today.

    Open run window with Win+R.

    Now type winver + Enter.

Then post a screnshot of the result or copy it in your next answer.

I think no mention of "Preview version" will be dispayed", which means your version is quite official and standard.

    Hi,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 2-Year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

The game support is wrong. 18362 is a public release of Windows.

Here is the result, you are right it doesn't reference Preview copy anywhere. So is the Game Technical support wrong? What do you suggest? Bye the way the game is "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon WIldlands". I Have also included their message to me that told me I had a Preview copy.

    Hello there,

Looking at your files I see your version of Windows is currently Build 18362 which is a preview build of Windows 10. Since that is a preview build that is not finalized our games aren't meant to run on it. I'd recommend rolling back to a release build of Windows
and testing the game that way. If the issue persists please update this case with a fresh MSINFO and we can investigate further.

Sincerely,

Conor G.

Ubisoft Support
