Laptop running slower while charging

My new laptop, acer aspire e15 runs fine when unplugged, but when plugged, it goes really slow. I have it set on max settings on battery (but if you have any ideas that I might have not done, tell me), and I use the charger that came with the laptop. Is there anyway to stop this?

I did wverything that both of you told me but it still runs slow. I do know now though that it only runs slow when plugged in at 40% and under. If its unplugged, it runs fine.

    Hello,

Please run Power troubleshooter from Settings app > Update & security > Troubleshoot. See if it helps you.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Bilalsuleiman

Please try this, if your battery is not removable, skip option 1 . . .

    1

Unplug your Laptop and remove the battery

Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds

Plug your laptop back in and replace the Battery

    Start your PC

    2

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

    Expand the Batteries section

For each device in that section:

    Right click and choose Disable

Then right click and choose Enable

    Close Device Manager

    3

    Open the Settings App

Go to Update & Security - Troubleshoot

    Run these troubleshooters

    Hardware and devices

    Power
